The Throat point works closely with the Heart Chakra in letting go of unnecessary emotions, and allowing release. Also, letting go of the Ego and not needing to be right, or to have the last word. Notice the ‘lump in your throat’ at times of great emotion.

Strengths – Clear communication, creativity, resonance, faith, self expression, personal authority, ability to keep your word, Centre of will – directing spirit into action, choice, expression of needs and desires, honour, vows – mind, body and spirit, soul knowledge.
Shadow – Limiting beliefs which create fears around any of the above strengths resulting in; Lies, obsessive need to control people and events, betrayal, not honouring your own values, conflict, putting others down; use of words to control; lack of will power; fear of speaking and being heard, noticed.
